Sewer Repair & Video Inspection
From older homes near the historic town center to newer construction toward I-4, we camera-inspect the line first, then jet, spot-repair, or replace — no guesswork.
Water Heater Repair & Replacement
Storage tank and tankless installs, repairs, and replacements sized for Seffner’s mix of established homes and newer builds.
Drain Cleaning & Hydro-Jetting
Cabling clears most everyday clogs, and for lines coated in years of scale and grease we follow up with hydro-jetting at up to 4,000 PSI.
Pipe Repair & Whole-House Repipes
Seffner’s older housing stock near the town center can still be running original galvanized or cast-iron supply lines — we handle single-leak repairs up through full whole-house repipes.
Commercial Plumbing
From farm operations to businesses along SR 574 and I-4, we handle fixture repair, backflow service, and fast turnarounds for Seffner’s commercial accounts.
Emergency Plumbing
Burst pipes, water heater failures, and sewer backups don’t wait for business hours — we’re on call 365 days a year for Seffner residents and businesses.
What Makes Seffner Different
Quick answer: Seffner takes its name from postmaster Frederick P. Seffner, when the post office opened here in 1884. Before that, the area was known as Simmon’s Hammock, home to a Baptist mission near Lake Thonotosassa that was abandoned during the Second Seminole War in 1835 and resettled following the 1842 Armed Occupation Act. It grew into a prosperous citrus community, and during Tampa’s 1887–1888 yellow fever epidemic, Seffner served as a refugee shelter for families fleeing the city.
A community that’s weathered its share of setbacks: a severe winter freeze in 1894–1895 hit the citrus groves hard, but Seffner recovered, and by 1925 it ranked as Hillsborough County’s fourth-largest town. The 2020 census counted 8,362 residents, up from 7,579 in 2010, with a median age of 40.4 across the community’s 3.8 square miles (3.6 land, 0.2 water), spanning ZIP codes 33583 and 33584.
Boundaries and neighbors: I-4 forms Seffner’s northern boundary and SR 574 its southern boundary, with Thonotosassa to the north, Mango to the west, and Brandon to the south. Plant City sits about 10 miles east. Despite the suburban growth, Seffner still carries its citrus-and-farm character — towering live oak trees, strawberry farms, and lakes throughout the area.
Why the license on your plumber matters here: Florida law voids a property owner’s insurance coverage on a plumbing system the moment unlicensed work is performed on it — not eventually, immediately. EVERYDAYPLUMBER.com holds Florida Master Plumber License CFC1428537, and every job we run in Seffner is permitted where required and performed to Florida Plumbing Code.
